Lemonia v Limani Greek Restaurants

Im not trying to spark a Greek restaurant war here as I have been told that they are in fact owned by the same people BUT the other day when we tried to get a table at Lemonia on the Regents Park Road we were turned away as they were fully booked. Fair enough. They advised us to go across the road to Limani - glad they did. It was fantastic in there, I could not praise the staff enough, the food was wonderful and unlike Lemonia we felt the staff did not try to hurry us to finish our meal and the whole experience was very pleasant - next time try Limani, and order there Kleftiko -you'll be glad you did.

I love Kleftiko so succulent - but have you tried Retsina ( not sure if that's the correct spelling) its Greek white wine - I heard that it was made form tree sap -which I find hard to believe but its definetely an aquired taste and worth a try but have a glass before you order a bottle!

As a family we probably go to Lemonia 4 times a year, we have been going since it opened many years ago and have never had reason to complain about their service. The foods fantastic and the staff are brilliant.

I absolutely LOVE Lemonia, especially in the summer when we can sit outside, its a great restaurant, if its greek you fancy - you couldn't do better than here!
