  1. Are you kidding me! The're everywhere, I live in Primrose Hill Court and we hear them fighting at night all the time - real screeching noises. I have also seen them walking about and have watched fox cubs playing. They always run away if you get too close to them so I am surprised that one walked passed you - but anyway let me assure your friends that there are indeed lots of foxes in this area.

They are everywhere in London - they originally used the railway tracks to come in from the countryside but stayed when they found that they could get a ready supply of food from dustbins etc. Do not go near them -some may well have a condition called fox-mange, not very pleasant and they can become aggressive if they feel frightened. When they breed in January they make an awful racket and that maybe what your hearing.

  3. saw one them crossing the bridge by the pembroke about 3am a couple of weeks ago - cool as a cucumber

  4. You should see the mess (poo) I find in my playground, they are a pest Ron Holding St Paul's School

  5. With all this stuff in the news lately about the twins I have been keeping the back door closed as I often see foxes in the garden, does anyone know if there is anything I can do that will stop them coming into my garden?

yeah, get yourself a male staffordshire bull terrier and let it wee in your garden, since we got ours we've had no foxes and no fox poo either, so it definately works, I live on King Henry's Road - probably any dog will do!

  7. spread any urine in your garden - even human, get your husband/sons to relieve themselves in the garden, especially at the points where the foxes gain entry, it works- I promise you, they do not come in to the garden after that, they hate it
